These terms apply when you book an appointment through Honolulu Pros, whether on this website or by phone.

Who we are and what we do

Honolulu Pros is an appointment-booking service. We are not a contractor, a hauler or a pest control operator, and we do not carry out any of the work.

We take the details of your job, confirm them with you, and hand the appointment to one independent, licensed and insured provider who performs the work.

These terms are between you and HonoluluPros. Your contract for the work itself is with the provider.

Booking and confirmation

A booking made through this site or our phone line is a request. It is confirmed when we contact you and agree a time window.

You agree to give us accurate information, including a mobile number you can be reached on and an address where the work can actually be done.

If the details you gave us do not match the job, the provider may re-price the work or decline it.

What it costs you

Booking through us is free. We take no payment from customers, ever.

You pay the provider directly, on site, at the price they quote you.

We are paid by the provider. That arrangement does not change the price you are quoted.

Quotes and estimates

We do not provide quotes, estimates or diagnoses, and nothing on this site is one.

Any figure a provider gives you on site is theirs. Ask them how long it stands for before you agree to any work.

Provider licensing and insurance

We check the licensing and insurance information we can find for a provider before referring an appointment to them.

It remains your responsibility to confirm a provider's license and insurance before work begins. You can check a Hawaiʻi contractor license at businesscheck.hawaii.gov.

Not every trade we book is licensed in Hawaiʻi, and where it is not, that check simply does not apply.

Cancellations, access and missed appointments

• If you need to change or cancel, tell us as early as you can so the slot can be re-let.
• If nobody is available at the address during the agreed window, the provider may treat it as a missed appointment and may charge for their time. That is between you and them.
• If a provider does not turn up, tell us. We will chase it and get you another appointment.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for passing your details on accurately and for making the introduction.

We are not responsible for the quality, safety, timing, pricing or outcome of the work. That is the provider's responsibility.

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Using the service fairly

• Do not book work that is unlawful, and do not give us information you are not entitled to give.
• Do not scrape this site, attempt to interfere with it, or use it to send automated requests.
• Do not use our phone line for anything other than booking a genuine appointment.

If something goes wrong

Tell us first. Call (808) 320-1330 and we will try to put it right. Where the problem is with the provider's work, we will take it up with them.

If it cannot be resolved with us, and the provider's trade is regulated in Hawaiʻi, you can also complain to the body that licenses them.

The text, layout and design of this site belong to us. You are welcome to link to any page. Please do not copy it wholesale.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi, and the courts of the First Circuit have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it.
